Denis Villeneuve has truly cracked the code for bringing what was long considered an unadaptable sci-fi franchise to the big screen, with little to no flaws. Dune: Part Two directly follows Dune: Part One (2021), building upon the world established in the first film and effectively condensing years of story into the span of months within a single movie. There are no words to describe my viewing experience other than to call it the epitome of science fiction cinema.

True Detective (2014)
“We’re not gonna give you the Oscar, no matter how hard you try,” says Rust (Matthew McConaughey), calling out an act in an interrogation in the beginning of fourth episode. Well, if they gave Oscars to TV shows, Pizzolatto and Fukunaga’s True Detective would be my first pick. True Detective has to be one of the most engaging and entertaining shows I’ve ever seen. It is crime drama brought to perfection.

I was fortunate enough to watch Interstellar with my Dad on the big screen back in 2014. At that time, I was just 9 years old, and upon reflection, I can hardly remember anything from that initial viewing. However, one thing remains vivid in my memory: my Dad absolutely loved it. So, when I settled down to watch it again, my expectations were sky-high.
